With over 8,500 members and 500 Branches nationwide, we are the largest centre-left political organisation after Labour. Co-operative Party Members take an active part in:

Campaigning for Labour’s adoption of co-operative policies;

Campaigning for recognition of consumer rights;

Having a say about decisions in their community;

Helping to spread the word and recruit new members;

Helping to organise events to raise awareness of issues.

Annual membership costs just £15 for waged and £8 for unwaged, new members receive a pack with their membership card and the latest copy of ‘New Mutualism’.

You must be a member of a recognised co-operative society.

You do not need to be a member of the Labour Party, but you can not be a member of any political party that is not affiliated with Labour.
